As the weeks fly by, I figure one of the best ways to document my styling dos and don’ts is to place them here in a sort of weekly recap or roundup! As a big advocate for inside and outside clothes, there isn’t (and will likely very rarely be) a full seven days worth of outfits documented, BUT never say never ;)
This week was an interesting mix of heat, rain, and chill. As the UK is notorious for its wacky weather, I can say this week was no different, especially with a heat wave rolling in towards the end of the week (including as I write this) and into the next.
As lovely as it is to see the sun, I am facing a bit of fashion whiplash after just bringing out my trench coat last week and now wearing sleeveless shirts and planning for shorts in the upcoming days. My closet is also struggling to recover as I attempt to squeeze out new looks whilst also trying not to buy new things, trying to upgrade my wardrobe, and also trying to save money (heart-eyes, I know).
This never-ending cycle is what I call the Cycle of Practicality and Reality vs Girlhood and I will be the first to tell you that practicality and reality win 99 percent of the time. However, this week in a rather interesting new development, Girlhood (and responsible spending/saving) won and made TWO fabulous features in this week’s roundup.
Anyway, enough chat. Here are the outfits:

Rating: 6/10 - Not my favourite, but colours were an interesting combination! Need different shoes for this outfit, too. (I was rained on an hour before this photo so… there’s also that.)

Rating: 6/10 - Nothing too special. Flattering, got the job done for the office, but just not a fave.

Rating: 7/10 - Colours and fit were super cute and great for the warmer weather, especially with blazer over the shoulder. Went to dinner with this and felt like it was cute and classy!
Rating: 9/10 - Cute, casual, pop of colour, perfect for the weather! Loved this look initially, then bought the jumper later in the day to add to the outfit → 10/10 purchase!
Feature number 1 of Girlhood winning: Red cardigan

Rating: 10/10! Look at the material: The cardigan, the linen pants, the sandals, the bag, all just chef’s kiss. Accessories were perfect for this, too. LOVE my church fits (and sunny summer days)!
Feature number 2 of Girlhood winning: Off white cardigan
As you can probably guess my favourite outfit this week goes unanimously to the last all white, coastal outfit! Honourable mention to my casual pop-of-red fit, but I just think the last one is absolutely perfect.
As always thank you for reading, I hope you had a great week!
I LOVE YOU and I’ll definitely be talking to you soon! :)
Ciao 💋
